RideWeston.co.uk has been started with a club mentality trying to pull together a group of like-minded bike riders for summer ride outs, social events, trackdays, or just general motorbike chat.
The original idea was to help anyone who recently passed their motorcycle test find interesting routes and other bikers with similar skills to ride with.
Because everyone improves at their own pace and has different goals for biking, we decided that the site wouldnt work for just beginners so have involved some of the more advanced riders and the site's been put together for anyone and everyone!
The sites aim is not only to finding some really great routes and improve our riding, but to also have a laugh with mates interested in the same thing.
The group of us who started this site all went through the MOTAG course held here in Weston Super Mare and have since all gone through a life-altering change for the better... bikes are now truly in our blood, they are in every conversation we seem to have down at the pub, and in the forefront of our mind every time any of us see the weather report.
Its difficult to say much about the IOM TT because we have all said that things have been mental or awesome before, and at the time those terms probably seemed reasonable.
I can not imagine a more intense, high risk sport which has such instant realisation of any mistake than the TT and Rich is over there to see it first hand!!!
